Prayer

Don't worry about anything,
but in all your prayers ask God for what you need,
always asking him with a thankful heart. Philippians 4:6

Prayer is the powerhouse of the church- we worship a God who loves us and wants the best for us and in our prayer life we can speak to Him and He to us.

Our health as individual Christians is reflected in our prayer lives, as is the health of our church community; and there are a number of opportunities to pray as a church family.

Monthly Prayer Meeting
This takes place on the last Monday evening of the month, at 7.30pm, in the home of one of our church members. We pray for the world and our own community, and the life and work of the church and its members.
Please contact the Parish Office for venue details (link?)

Prayer Ministry

On alternate Sundays, we offer prayer ministry to any individual who would like someone to pray with them and for them. If you would like someone to pray for you, there will be space and time after the service has finished to pray with someone in confidence.

Home Groups
As well as fellowship and Bible study, our home groups are a place where you can get to know a small group of people really well. As that relationship grows, the home group becomes a place where we can share our joys and troubles with one another and pray together.

Other Opportunities for Prayer
There are small groups of people who pray for specific areas of ministry and work of our church, as part of their support and protection network. If you would like to be a part of this, either from your home or in a small group, please email Rev Angus Parker
