Our schools

There are two schools in Bitterne, Bitterne Infants School and Bitterne Junior School. They were originally built on a site adjacent to the church but are now in Peartree Avenue.

We have long established links with both schools and we are represented on their Governing Bodies.

Members of the staff team regularly take assemblies, help with events, meet with the staff and offer support to the parents.

Children are welcomed into the church to look around it and they come in for their special services at Easter, Christmas, harvest and when some of them move on to their next school.

We also share in the support of our friends in Namalemba and Bumoozi parishes in Uganda.

These links are valued by both the church and the schools.
