Home Groups
... meet in various people's
homes around the area to study the Bible together, pray and to socialise.
They meet every couple of weeks at different times and on different days
to suit different people. If you would like to join a Home Groups
one of the Staff will be able to advise you which one might be best for
you.
The Groups aim to have between 10 and 12 members with 2 leaders and a
host.
The purpose of Home Groups is to build up, encourage and deepen people's
faith, and to build relationships.
It is in small groups that many people can express and deepen their faith
in a safe and secure environment.
They provide a chance for people to get to know one another in a deeper
way, developing friendships with each other and God, in a relaxed and
unthreatening atmosphere.
'For this reason I fall on my knees before the Father from whom every
family in heaven and on earth receives its true name.
I ask God from the wealth of his glory to give you power through his
Spirit to be strong in your inner selves, and I pray that Christ will make
his home in your hearts through faith.
I pray that you may have your roots and foundation in love, so that you,
together with all God's people, may have the power to understand how broad
and long, how high and deep, is Christ's love.
Yes, may you come to know his love - although it can never be fully known
- and so completely filled with the very nature of God.' Eph 3:
14-21
